How do I create my first video?

Sign up, open Create from the dashboard, choose a template and target platform (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or LinkedIn), write a prompt, select a voice, and start generation. When the draft is ready, open the scene editor to adjust scripts and timing, then click Export to download your MP4.

How does the credit system work?

Credits pay for video generation and exports. A typical 30-second video costs about 8 credits. Solo includes 1,000 credits per month; Creator includes 2,000 and Studio includes 10,000. Unused monthly allowance does not roll over — your balance resets to the plan allowance each billing period. Check your balance in the dashboard header or Billing page.

What templates are available?

Vidquel offers six template families — Cinematic Story, Minecraft duo commentary, Social media chat, AI Doodle, UGC Creator, and Freeform. Browse the Templates page in the dashboard or read the template guides in Documentation.

Why does my export look different from the preview?

The editor preview is interactive and may differ slightly from the final encoded MP4. If you edited scenes after a previous export, save your changes and run Export again. The editor shows a banner when the timeline needs a fresh export.

Why did my generation fail?

Common causes include an unclear prompt, insufficient credits, or a temporary service issue. Open the failed project for details, refine your prompt, and retry. Campaign slots can be retried individually from the campaign workbench. Contact support if failures persist.
